CICS Transaction Gateway for Multiplatforms V9.0 delivers high-performing, available, scalable, secure, multi-user access to a variety of CICS servers. These include CICS Transaction Server for z/OS, CICS Transaction Server for VSE, TXSeries for Multiplatforms and CICS Transaction Server for i.

It is an ideal deployment option for distributed or less-demanding z/OS environments or when managed by distributed system administrators.

Open integration with Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) application servers (optimized for WebSphere Application Server) and a wide variety of client application environments including Java, Microsoft .NET, C++, C#, Visual Basic and COBOL running on major platforms
Availability and scalability delivered through dynamic server selection, Workload Partitioning, XA transactions and 64-bit Java 7 enabling remote client applications to exploit a CICS high availability infrastructure
Security mechanisms provide end-to-end security solutions, including SSL, identity propagation and user authentication using passwords and password phrases
