System requirements:

Tivoli Netcool Network Virtuo Mediation is a Java™-based, hardware-independent solution. Its modular design enables you to extend its range in a "plug-and-play" fashion.

Client environment:

  • Intel®-based with minimum 1GHz CPU and 512MB RAM

  • Microsoft® Windows® 2000 or XP, Solaris 9 and 10, Red Hat Advanced Server (AS) 4.0 and HP-UX 11

  • Sun JDK version 1.5

Server environment:

  • Minimum 1GB RAM and 20GB disk space

  • Solaris entry-level servers are sufficient for test and training systems, for example, V210

  • PC/Linux®, 2GHz Pentium® IV are sufficient

Recommended platform:

  • IBM BladeCenter® HS21 with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 AS for x86
