High-performance mathematical libraries
IBM® Mathematical Acceleration Subsystem is a collection of mathematical function libraries that are tuned for specific IBM processors. The fully supported Mathematical Acceleration Subsystem software libraries are shipped with the XL C, XL C/C++ and XL Fortran compiler products. Mathematical Acceleration Subsystem libraries offer improved performance over the standard mathematical library routines, are thread-safe, and support compilations in C, C++ and Fortran applications.
