• Use the SmartLabels feature to automatically calculate data for more than a dozen predefined terms that you type in, such as Total and Average, and to create your own customized terms and formulas.
• Take advantage of the SmartFill feature, which anticipates an entry based on the first few letters you type and completes the entry automatically.

• Use the Web tables feature to import data from any HTML page, for example, to retrieve the latest stock quotes from a website and place them in an investment spreadsheet for instant analysis.
• Convert spreadsheet data to HTML documents for sharing over the web, while preserving information, such as cell colors, formats, named ranges and full numerical data (for example, 3.14159265, not 3.14).
• Publish only the content that you specify to the web using the Publishing Assistant, which lets you select an entire workbook, a particular page or a selected range of data for web output.
• Cut data from web browsers as a parsed HTML table for proper display on the web.
• Assign hypertext links to a spreadsheet or parts of a spreadsheet to enable users to access spreadsheet content with a click.

Built-in support for Microsoft Excel users

• Use enhanced filters for compatibility with Excel files to read and write Excel text, numbers, formulas, formatting, drawings and charts.
• Customize formulas using @Functions commands that are compatible with formulas used in Excel.
• Use the Excel Menu Finder to select popular Excel commands and display the name of the equivalent Lotus 1-2-3 commands.

File exchange with third-party applications
