The Lotus Symphony sametime integration plug-in is a programmability sample that demonstrates how to use Lotus Symphony programmability functions to extend Lotus Symphony applications.This plugin shows you how to integrate Symphony sample spreadsheet view with Sametime. It can supports Lotus Symphony 3.0.
Prerequisite before you install Sametime plug-in on standalone Symphony:
Steps for how to install sametime client in standalone Symphony:
1.Launch Symphony first.
2.Launch application management in Symphony window by click File->Application->Install
3.Point to sametime updatesite (eg. I:\Sametime Connect 801\sametimeclient\Windows-Linux\updateSite\)
4.Select all the features to install except branding feature of Sametime Connect (ISA,platform,Sametime.), it will overwrite Symphony's splash screen. The next time Symphony starts, the splash screen shown will be Sametime Connect 8.0.1's.
5.Restart Symphony
6.You will see the sametime function be added at the sidebar.
After completing the installation of sametime client, then you can download the sametime plug-in or drag the plug-in to install in Symphony.
For Symphony embedded user, the sametime client is already be installed, you just need install this plug-in, please follow notes development guide to enable the Application Management function.
