The Lotus Symphony Rebranding plug-in is a sample that demonstrates how Lotus Symphony can be customized for branding of a particular customer. With this plug-in Lotus Symphony users can choose the theme of Lotus Symphony from this list(Lotus Expeditor Theme, Operating System Theme, Chelsea, Natural, Royale, Silvery) without restarting Lotus Symphony. Users can also change the following elements to re-brand Lotus Symphony:

The startup picture in bmp format

The logo on title/task bar in .gif format, size: 30 x 30 or 16 x 16 Pixels

The background picture in gif format

The brand on home page in gif format, size: 100 x 40 Pixels

The application name of Lotus Symphony

Lotus Symphony has to be restarted to show the new pictures.

The plug-in package name is com.ibm.productivity.tools.plugins.rebranding.updatesite.zip. It contains the updatesite package ready to be deployed to Lotus Symphony. Refer to Readme.odt in the zip file for more information.
