Hi,

I think that your download of the package is incomplete... see this page:

The file for the office suite should be 264.7Mb in size, I am trying to download it myself but the download stops downloading randomly.

I think I may have to move the downloads somewhere else. However I can"t do that until I can download the package fully as it is no longer on my PC.

Apparently it"s very easy to compile, you did it, a 64bit version of the Debian packages, why isn"t IBM does this by themselves? Again for this collaboration.

Today I got alot of e-mails requesting a package for the latest fixpack. I told people I would make it tomorrow if I have the time but I had some spare time tonight... so now I made a package for the latest fixpack.

Sorry for the delay but I have very little time between work and studying for an upcoming college exam.

Just wanted to that you Dylan. I couldn"t get the latest Symphony to install in Kubuntu 11.04 64bit - your"s installed without any troubles.

Why IBM doesn"t provide a 64 bit version of this good office software is beyond my comprehension.

Thanks a lot for the contribution, this is one I was expecting. However I found that the first language package, the one I hope contains Spanish, doesn"t work. Can you check it please?

Fixpack available now for those 64bit users that feel left out!

It makes Lotus Symphony ALOT faster on startup and have better performance overall. Also alot of the bugs I reported have been fixed, I appreciate that IBM!

Note that this depends on my Lotus Symphony package so it won"t work for people that force installed with the official 32bit .deb.

While we wait it out for a native 64bit release I have made a .deb installer for 64bit users. It allows a 64bit user to easily install the 32bit release!
