Custom property from PPTX file not available in Symphony

Hi, Symphony team!

I have a PPTX presentation file, created in Microsoft Office 2007, which I added a custom property manually to it.

Then, when I open this file in IBM Lotus Symphony 3.0.1 and go to menu File > File Properties... > Custom properties tab, the custom property is not listed there.

Please, why is that happening? How can I see the cu...

Hi,
Is there any way to attach a key listener to a Symphony document ?
Symphony is based on expeditor toolkit, it seems possible to attach a key listener to a RichTextEditor, but probably the editor itself is managed by OpenOffice.
I would like to avoid a UNO interface, which seems quite difficult to understand and implement.
Has anybody found a solution to this kind of need ?...

According to the com.ibm.symphony.javaapi.SymphonyDocument class javadoc, the methods export and saveAs can use the following file formats:

For Lotus Symphony Document, thefollowing file formats are supported:

.odt file: Constant.SYMPHONY_FILE_FORMAT_ODT
.ott file...

Hello!

My team created a Symphony plug-in. On Windows XP, we can install successfully the plug-in via widgets drag and drop on the Symphony 3.0.1 FP2. But, one of the team members has Symphony 3.0.0 FP3 on his Windows XP, and when he tries to install the plug-in via widget drag and drop (and also via My Widgets > Import funcion), a pop-up window displays this error message:

Fierst problem: Tried protecting the document from ..tools ->protect document -> document does not work. I can still make changes after protecting the document.

Second problrm: I tried to make my file shareable and read only ..so i went to preference security and check the open this document in read-only mode and check the Record changes. ...

I'm trying to use the =Frequency() function to create a histogram and get "err 514" when the data size spans more than 100K rows.

Why?

Symphony is advertized as "1 million rows support in spreadsheets"

Using Lotus Symphony 3.01 (this bug was not present under version 3.0), with Linux (Open SuSE 12, but is the same for other distros), while using a not English language as system language: all numbers in spreadsheet are shown as NaN or equivalent string (NaNN, for instance).
