Do you use clip art? (part 2)

Profile image for Jenn Giardino Thanks to everyone who has provided feedback so far! This feedback has been very useful in helping us determine what types of categories to provide. Soon we will post new clip art images in the following categories: Diagrams, Bullets, Arrows, People, Environment, Computers and Networking, and Symbols and Icons. We currently have plans to provide the categories Finance and Transportation, but we need more feedback to help us determine what other categories are in demand.

Please take a moment to review and respond to the following questions:

Do you use clip art?

Do you download images or clip art from the Web for use in Symphony?

What are the subjects of the clip art or images that you use in Symphony? (For example, images of people, geometric shapes.)

    I would like to see two items that would make using clip art in symphony easier. 1. The ability to perform a bulk download of all the clip art available on the Symphony web site and install it to a series of clip art libraries on the local machine. This could be provided in the form of a plugin, etc. 2. A macro, function, etc. to make it easy to add local clip art libraries to Symphony. For example, this function could be used to add a CD of clip art purchased at a local store to the Symphony clip art libraries.

    One thing I hear constantly from MS Office users who are thinking of moving to an OpenOffice based solution is that they hate the fact that the clip art in OpenOffice is not searchable. If Symphony could add the ability to search the clip art galleries, that would be awesome!

    Ms has some of these. Not always up to date. Hard to find. agree on the mass upload. the more clip art available, the better....
