  WIn 7 64 bit FP2/FP3 installs fail (and makes the pre-existing 3.0 installation unusable even after reboot). Have to use System Restore to get 3.0 working again. Same behavior with "simple" Open and Run as Administrator. The only message from InstallShield is that the installation was interrupted, try running it again later.
  
  "Unusable" == sys tray icon not present; manually started shows splash screen, spins for a few seconds, and silently terminates. 3.0 worked fine before, and works fine again after System Restore, so clearly the "rollback" in InstallShield is incomplete.

  I installed fix pack 3 on both 32 bit and 64 bit Windows machines that were previously at fix pack 2 with no issues. I was careful because of the comment made by guest on August 7th but I did nothing special and all was well. I believe the Symphony version of Open Office to be an excellent product.

  It is not fixing in WIN 7 tried to install Lotus Symphony 3, Fix Pack 3 but is giving me error like
  
  "The application cannot be started. The component Manager is not available. Start the setup application to repair the installation from the CD or the folder containing the installation packages."

  Really like to try Symphony 3.0 and the new fixpack but couldn't download the .deb for Ubuntu: you only have rpm's in the download manager

  I have been trying to download this product all day today...uninstalling and then re-installing. Most of the time, I get an error saying the client code cannot be downloaded. Once it successfully installed, but then when I would open a file (say like a .opd or ..opt file), nothing appearrs....just a blue screen with the IBM logo on it.
  
  I really need this product to do my job because most documents we work with are created with Lotus Symphony. I have another machine with Lotus Symphony 1.0 which works fine, but I cannot find that version to download from any site. Need some help here. Very frustrating!!!!!!

  I have the IBM Lotus Symphony on my computer. Do not use a lot. Is it necessary for me to download the 3 Fixpack 3? Looks like a few usrs are havng a few problems with their system with this download. Please advise. Use to work in data processing at IBM. I know you will do a fantastic job in fixing the ''kinks' in this software. Thanks
