Should this fixpack be applied to Embedded Symphony (version 3 in Notes 8.5.2 via Add-On pack) ?

    Knud,

No. This is for the standalone version only. There will be a Fixpack Add-on installer for Notes available next week via FixCentral for Notes customers on maintenance.

Okay, I might be blind but is there any way to keep up-to-date? E-mail newsletter or RSS feed, in order to get the latest (Like this Fix Pack).

That Lotus Live Connector is an annoyance. First of all, I can't find a briefcase as it implies. Second, having to do it manually feels like a nuisance, I am a technical guy but too lazy to do all that stuff, most likely I would like to disable that prompt from showing up. Third, the solution for my Home Page situation, where it shows me a prompt to Open, Save, and Cancel was solved by selecting something like "Always do this for this kind of file" option and it keeps opening that thing in my web browser, just annoying when it should open in the program itself.

    Just taking out my frustration.

The Lotuslive Connector is the typical IBM product: you cannot claim there is nothing for that, but you cannot say there is a SOLUTION for that. Google Docs have a complete addon for Outlook where you can upload and download your stuff, play with your folders, and even when you begin typing the name a group on your Outlook, the addon completes it: the stuff is totally connected to Google Docs. There are similar products with the same idea. But IBM? No, sorry, the biggest blue does not do that.

BTW, am I the only one to think that it's amazing IBM Office is unable to open a Lotus database as Smartsuite was? But do not bother, they are working on some very technical stuff while MS/Google/Apple/Whatever beats them once more.

I also found a wiki article showing how to set plug-in update related options.

Will this fix a problem with printing in Symphony. When I have several tabs the printer only seems to recognise the first tab, the only way I can print the other tabs is to highlight everything I want and ask it to print all selected cells. Print Preview will only show a preview of the first tab too. I have tried to start my own thread about this but it won't let me submit it. Can anyone help please.
