Lotus Symphony Toolkit - Bridging Notes and Symphony

This lab teaches the participant how to integrate Notes and Symphony with the Symphony LotusScript API. Learn how to take advantage of the Symphony toolkit to automatically control and process Symphony documents through LotusScript or Java Programming. Notes developers can quickly leverage their existing skills to develop integration between Notes and Symphony. Participants will learn how to easily access Symphony using LotusScript to manipulate and organize paragraphs, create charts and tables, and calculate cell elements from Notes document and spreadsheet applications.

Developing IBM Lotus Symphony Plug-ins and Widgets

Learn how to develop IBM Lotus Symphony Plug-ins and Widgets and integrate your value added applications into the Symphony Editor platform. Based on the Eclipse plug-in architecture, Lotus Symphony provided flexible capabilities to extend and enhance editor features and business workflow processes. Lotus hosts a wide variety of plugins on the Symphony website, learn how develop and get your plugin hosted there too!

Lotus Symphony Power User Tips and Tricks

Learn how to become a Symphony Power User by exploring all of the rich capabilities of the Lotus Symphony suite. This class will demonstrate the advanced features of Symphony, how to set up Live Text and leverage Symphony plug-ins to improve your Symphony Editor experience. This session walks you through using Live Text features to improve your daily productivity without programming. We will share best practices to increase your Symphony adoption and transition off of proprietary editor suites.
