Profile image for Buzzmaster1 Some users may see an error message "Format error discovered in the file in sub-document content.xml at position 2, xxxxxx (row, col)." when opening an .odp file in Lotus Symphony 1.0 . This problem has been fixed in Lotus Symphony 1.1. Please download Lotus Symphony version 1.1 from the Web site and use the following steps to fix an affected file:

1.Open the corrupted file using Lotus Symphony 1.1 and ignore the error dialog when it prompts.

2.Make a change on any page, such as changing a few words in one page.

3.Save the modified file. When an error message dialog pops up, click OK to ignore, and then click the Save button again. The file will be saved successfully .

4.Open the file again in Lotus Symphony 1.1, and no error message will displayed.

If you still experience problems with any files or need further help please open an item in our support forum.
