I think lots of you are familiar with toolbars in Lotus Symphony, where you can quickly access popular commands like Save, Open, Create Graphic... Long time ago, many users raised feedback to us that they'd like to build up a personalized toolbar by their preference --- good news is: it comes true since Lotus Symphony 3 Beta 3, we enabled "Toolbar Preferences" feature (as you may see, in previous releases, this entry menu is always disabled).
OK, Let's start! To make this happen, just right click toolbar, then click "Toolbar Preferences..." menu to open the preference page (see the snapshot at the end).
In the preference page, you can:
Decide to show/hide any toolbar in specified editor by defaultExample: John doesn't like to see File bar open every time when launching Symphony Presentation, then it's easy to uncheck this bar under Presentation editor in "Categories" page accordingly -- that's it.
Decide to show/hide any command in specified toolbarExample: Lucy likes to use "Font Name" command through toolbar, while currently it's hidden. To get it back, she needs to check the "Font Name" option in corresponding toolbar (Context Sensitive - Text Object), press OK, and it will magically show.
By the way, we've added "Font Name" and "Font Size" command in toolbar as lots guys requested, though it's default hidden due to real estate limits.
Adjust the command sequence in specified toolbarExample: Eric wants to move "Print" command ahead of "Save" in Document to fit his sense. Now it's also easy to adjust, first select the "Print" command in "File" bar of Document editor, then click "Up" button in the dialog, next press "OK" to end the game.
Since this is a newly produced feature, we'd like to know your feedback (feelings, questions, new desires...) very much, just feel free to leave your comments in the following please.
