Directions to the Montreal Lab

Directions to the lab from Pierre Elliott Trudeau Montreal International Airport:
The airport offers limousine services and there is a flat rate of $31.00 for a taxi cab ride to downtown. Call 514-633-3019 for info. The airport also offers a daily shuttle bus service ( L'aerobus) to downtown Montreal, with departures every half hour on the hour (for approximately $13.00. Get off the shuttle at the first of the four bus stops in downtown Montreal: Chateau Champlain at the intersection of rue de la Gauchetière and Peel. From here, most major downtown hotels operate a complimentary bus service.

Another option from the airport is to take the #204 public transit bus heading to the Dorval bus terminal, then take the westbound #211 heading downtown. (Remember to ask for a transfer ticket because you need to transfer on the metro.) Get off at the Lionel-Groulx metro station, and travel in the Honoré-Beaugrand direction, (Green Line) to Atwater station. Place Alexis-Nihon is directly connected to Atwater.

Directions to the lab from the bus station:
The Berri-UQAM station is the final destination for all bus lines into the city. The bus terminal is directly connected to the Berri-UQAM Metro Station, below the bus station. To get to the lab from here travel in the Angrignon direction (Green Line) and exit at the Atwater station to access Place Alexis-Nihon.

Directions to the lab from the train station:
Traveling to Montreal by train will bring you to Central Station ( Gare Centrale), on René-Lévesque Blvd. West, near Mansfield Street. If you are coming from the metro station, take the following directions:

1. Take the metro as the station is directly connected to the Bonaventure metro station.
2. Once on the metro, travel in the direction of Côte-Vertu (Orange line) and transfer at Lionel-Groulx on the Green line.
3. Then head in the direction of Henri-Bourassa in order to get to your Atwater stop and access Place Alexis-Nihon.

Directions to the lab by car:
If you come by car, Place Alexis-Nihon has plenty of indoor parking available. From Ottawa:

1. Take route 417 East and follow it to highway 40 going East.
2. Take highway 540 East which splits into highway 20 East.
3. From highway 20 take Exit 70 (Atwater).
4. At the second set of lights, turn left on St-Jacques.
5. At the third set of lights, turn left on Atwater Street.
6. When you reach Ste-Catherine, Place Alexis-Nihon will be on the left hand side. If you reach De Maisonneuve Blvd., you have gone one street too far.

Alternatively:

1. Take route 417 East and follow it to highway 40 going East.
2. Take the highway 15 South (Decarie Expressway - Autoroute Décarie).
3. Exit at Exit 64. This will bring you to Sherbrooke Street W. Continue eastward until you hit Atwater Street, then turn right until you reach De Maisonneuve Blvd.
