Life at the Canadian software labs

The IBM Canada Software Labs are committed to fostering a flexible and positive atmosphere for our employees. While we may be a large corporation, we all share a family atmosphere and a strong sense of internal and external community. Through programs like the Employees' Charitable Fund (ECF) and several environmental groups, our labs are committed to improving their surrounding communities on a social and environmental level.

Skills development is an important part of our high performance, global culture. We make a large investment in our employees through training and education programs across the country.

IBM has an excellent track record in supporting employees' who wish to pursue their education. Working at the Montreal Lab puts me in a strategic position as it is situated close to four major universities. Taking time out of my normal work activities to pursue my goals has been easily facilitated. IBM being a geographically dispersed organization, I can also communicate and receive great feedback from colleagues spread out across the globe.
