Responding to a lack of connectivity among the disparate systems used throughout China's hospitals and healthcare industry, eWell, a medical technology firm, provides hospitals with a data exchange integration platform, Hospital 2.0, which integrates IBM’s PureApplication with IBM Integration Bus.
Hospital systems within China utilize discrete systems for storing critical patient data, creating information silos and a disconnected healthcare environment that impacts patient care. eWell needed to provide its hospital clients with a unified platform to connect independent systems, so their data could be synthesized and shared in a reliable, safe way.
eWell provides hospitals in China with a data exchange integration platform, Hospital 2.0, which integrates IBM’s PureApplication with IBM Integration Bus.
This IBM solution provides the foundation of a single unified information sharing platform, breaking down data silos and helping to improve patient care.
