Supported file formats

The benefits of attaching a file containing your registration data are:

  • The need to type the hardware information directly into the ServicePac Activation Form is eliminated. Should the verification process encounter an error, attaching a file allows correction and re-submission of the data without re-keying.
  • The file creates a record of all registration data submitted to IBM.

For Warranty and Maintenance Options and Post-Warranty Maintenance Agreement ServicePacs purchased on or after Feb 14, 2005, please go to the IBM Global eServicePac web site to perform the registration. Be sure to obtain the Authorization and PIN # from your point of purchase.
