Do you want to improve the availability of your applications?
Do you want to control your ability to maintain business continuity?
What do you consider an acceptable amount of downtime?
What do you consider an acceptable amount of lost data?
What disasters are you trying to protect against?
Do you own more than one IT facility?
If you do own more than one IT facility, what is the fiber distance between them?
Is spare cable, or dark fiber, available for use between these facilities?
How much of a lag in remote copy performance are you willing to accept?
