Topics include crypto, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), System Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), Network Authentication Services, Enterprise Identity Mapping, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), Unix System Services, Identity Management and more.

• Basics of z/OS RACF Administration
  
  Learn how to administer the z/OS Security Server Resource Access Control Facility (RACF). Get an introduction to the z/OS environment, Time Sharing Option (TSO) and Interactive System Productivity Facility / Program Development Facility (ISPF/PDF), batch processing, and z/OS data sets. Gain experience with z/OS by viewing, and allocating datasets, submitting a batch job, and viewing job output. Learn how to use basic RACF command parameters, and panels, to define users and groups, protect general resources, z/OS data sets, and choose a basic set of RACF options.
  
  
• Effective RACF Administration

  Are you already familiar with z/OS concepts and need to know about the z/OS Security Server Resource Access Control Facility (RACF)? Learn to be an effective RACF security administrator as you gain experience and confidence in using the RACF element of the z/OS Security Server. Learn to use RACF to define users, set up group structures, and protect general resources and data sets.

• Exploiting the Advanced Features of RACF
  
  Are you already familiar with basic to intermediate Resource Access Control Facility (RACF) concepts and need to know more?  Attend this course to learn how to implement advanced facilities of the RACF component of the z/OS Security Server. You will benefit from this course if your installation uses or needs to implement any of the following:  RACF Remote Sharing Facility (RRSF),  security with z/OS UNIX Systems Services, DB2 security with RACF, RACF in a basic or parallel Sysplex, Network Job Entry (NJE) security controls, security for z/OS operator commands, program control, and backup and recovery of the RACF data base. Classroom lecture is reinforced with hands-on lab exercises which will help you select and implement those functions appropriate for your installation.

• Implementing RACF Security for CICS/ESA
  
  Learn about security implementation for CICS Transaction Server (CICS TS) systems using Resource Access Control Facility (RACF) as the external security manager. Learn the implementation tasks for a single-region CICS system and Multi-Region Operation (MRO) or Intersystem Communication (ISC) connected multi-region CICS systems. Understand both the CICS and RACF definitions necessary to establish effective security controls for CICS. Explore the security interface between CICS, RACF, and DB2.
