Welcome to the new streamlined and simplified process for ordering entitled software release upgrades. This Web-based process is now available for iSeries and pSeries customers and IBM Business Partners that sell iSeries and pSeries systems.
This process and tool significantly reduces the time and effort needed to prepare and submit orders for entitled software release upgrades. IBM Business Partners, authorized by their customers through a simple, one-time registration process, can continue to place these orders on behalf of their customers.
- Direct ordering of entitled software upgrades over the Web provides ordering "on demand".
- Web-based tool has a simple, easy-to-use interface.
- Configurator (eConfig) reports are no longer required for ordering.
- The entitlement checking process is automated.
- Both on-line and e-mail order confirmations are provided.
- Linkage is provided for order status and tracking.
- Extensive on-line HELP is provided.

- A simple registration process ensures that only authorized personnel can place upgrade orders for entitled software.
Requirements:
- All users must have a registered IBM ID and password to access the Web-based tool.
- A current IBM Software Maintenance Agreement (SWMA) or Software Subscription Contract must be in place for the software that is being upgraded.
