Electronic Software Delivery allows you to download System i and System p products as soon as your software order has been processed. You don't have to wait for your software to be delivered to you.
You get electronic images that are bit-for-bit copies of the software order that you can download to a System i, System p, or a PC.
You may burn the images to CD or DVD for installation, or install the electronic images directly onto your system.
Electronic Software Delivery supports most products that run on i5/OS V5R3 and V5R4, and on AIX 5.2 and 5.3. For the list of products that are supported, see Supported products.
