Port Linux once: Achieve POWER everywhere

Overview   |   Step 1: Assess   |   Step 2: Test   |   Step 3: Market

Step 3: Market Your Linux on POWER Application

Potential customers and the IBM Linux on POWER sales force want to know that your solutions are now enabled on Linux on POWER, along with the hardware applications and distributions that you support. To provide the most visibility for your solutions, we recommend you do the following:

  1. Notify the IBM Linux on POWER sales force that your solutions are complete and which distributions you support.
Put IBM's sales force to work for you by letting us know which solutions you have enabled on Linux on POWER. We'll publish those solutions in a special IBM internal directory accessed by IBM's worldwide Linux on POWER sales force.

  2. Add or update your solutions in the IBM Global Solutions Directory
One of the best ways to provide visibility for your solutions is to ensure they are entered in the Global Solutions Directory (GSD), IBM's primary online directory of Business Partner applications, tools and services. This international resource for finding and marketing solutions delivers sales leads to you via e-mail and is available in nine languages.
