Release 2.40 of the PKCS #11 Support Program is now available for download for all IBM 4758 Model 002 and 023 customers who use Windows 2000®, Windows NT®, and customers who use AIX with pSeries (IBM RISC/6000) feature #4958. Release 2.40 provides additional function and performance for all customers and fixes problems encountered with the earlier releases.

Highlights of the new and additional support include:

• CCA Support Program available for AIX, Windows NT and Windows 2000
  • RSA PKCS#1-v2.0 support for OAEP key wrapping
  • ANSI X9.24 Unique Key Per Transaction support for encrypting and decrypting PIN blocks
  • The timer function accuracy in CP/Q++ now matches the capability of the hardware
  • The software in CP/Q++ and the CCA PIN verbs is find tuned for improved performance
  • Miscellaneous corrections and performance tuning; see the 'Revision History' in the CCA Basic Services Reference and Guide with Release 2.40 manual
• PKCS #11 Support Program available for AIX, Windows NT 4.0, and Windows 2000
  • Added support for CKM_DES2_KEY_GEN
  • Added limited support for working with modular-exponent format RSA private keys
  • Miscellaneous corrections and performance tuning
