Using subsequent Web pages, you can complete a registration process and then download the software that you require.
To obtain the software that you require, follow these steps:
- You may wish to use your browser to print this page and make notes on your printed copy.
- Determine the software items that you will require by reviewing the following information.
- Complete the registration procedure (see below). The information that you provide enables IBM to comply with USA governmental requirements pertaining to the export of cryptographic implementations.
- When you have completed the registration procedure, you will have access to a menu of software items that you can download.
- Instructions in the CCA Support Program installation manuals describe how to install the downloaded software. You can obtain these manuals from the Library page. Read the manual to be sure that you know how to proceed.
Special note to Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system installers: The libXp RPM is required by the Installshield GUI installation. Not all Red Hat installations install this RPM by default. If error message "The installer is unable to run in graphical mode" occurs during installation of the CCA Support Program, install the libXp rpm and retry the installation.
Which software items should I download?
- Linux users should download the current release of the CCA Support Program for Linux package.
- Windows users should download the current release of the CCA Support Program for Windows package.
After you have determined the software download packages that you require, check for any known problems and software updates.
The IBM Tracking Serial Number and the customer number that was used to purchase the 4764 adapter from IBM will be needed later on the successive download Web page in order to request the download package. See the 4764 Serial Numbers pictorial for location of the IBM Tracking Serial Number.
Then proceed to the software-package selection page to complete the registration procedure and software download.
DEPRECATED: Obtaining CCA software for System z servers running Linux
