Comments and questions for the IBM PCI-X Cryptographic Coprocessor Team

If you have a question or problem with an IBM software product that uses the IBM PCI-X Cryptographic Coprocessor, then you should submit your question or problem to IBM using the platform channel indicated in Where to obtain support. Generally, this is through the RETAIN PMR process. Note that contacts for products such as ICSF and TKE should be through System z™ support, and not using the Crypto email address given on this page.

Please send your email to crypto@us.ibm.com. IBM monitors the crypto email queue several times each business day in the eastern USA. Normally you should expect a response within one business day.

For a general question or comment, please include the following information in your email:

  • Your name and the name of your company
  • Your email address and your phone number
  • Host computer type and model
  • Operating system and release level
  • Your question or comment (non-platform specific)

For System x customers reporting a problem, you need to provide the information requested on the support webpage.
