The Center was founded in the late 1980'ies as a response to the Danish banks call for encryption solutions to the encryption of inter bank communication and the Danish debit card payment system "dankort".
Today the Center offers a variety of cryptographic solutions, tools and services aimed at meeting demands for very secure solutions.
The core competencies are in providing state-of-the-art key management solutions and digital signature solutions with a focus on serving the payment solutions in the banking industry.
