This is a customer-led group of global retailers who run Toshiba Self Checkout today, or are strong prospects to run Toshiba Self Checkout in the near future. Now in its second year, this is a group that believes in collaboration among each other and Toshiba, with the goal of interacting with Toshiba subject matter experts to influence product roadmaps and gain insights on best practices. The group plans to meet twice each year with the agenda and priorities determined largely by the SCSFG Steering Committee.
Two group meetings are held each year, in conjunction with the POS Application Focus Group. The primary meeting is held each October in Raleigh, NC (home of Toshiba Retail Store Solutions). The second meeting is currently held in conjunction with the Toshiba Retail User Group Conference in the spring. This combined event offers Toshiba Customers the opportunity to attend the Toshiba Retail User Group conference as well as participate in an insightful and interactive forum designed specifically for our Toshiba Self Checkout Users.
The meetings provide a forum for members to hear the latest updates about Toshiba products, strategies and direction as well as the opportunity to share best practices and provide feedback on product roadmaps. This forum provides a great opportunity for "round table" discussion on items and issues that impact customer business, and serves as a direct communication vehicle to convey member requirements, concerns and feedback to Toshiba. Plus you can meet the Toshiba Self Checkout team based in RTP face-to-face.
