Supply chain security requirement

Security has always been a focus area within IBM, and we expect our suppliers to observe the highest standards of security. This includes suppliers shipping goods and providing services. Security is critical as assets move through the supply chain.
To strengthen and assure the security of its global supply chain, IBM requires that its suppliers adhere to all applicable laws and regulations regarding supply chain security in producing goods or providing services for IBM. IBM also expects its suppliers to be knowledgeable with applicable supply chain security recommendations issued by applicable governments and industry standards organizations and make best efforts to comply with such recommendations.
IBM suppliers are expected to adhere to these requirements wherever they conduct business on behalf of IBM and to be able to demonstrate compliance with them upon request.
