Federal Small Business Supplier Programs

IBM Mentor Protege Programs
IBM has a long history of developing small and diverse businesses under our Commercial and Federal Mentor Protégé Programs. IBM's objective is to establish successful long-term relationships with relevant small business technology companies by assisting them with business development, technical training and one-on-one mentoring with an IBM business advisor. In the Federal space, the Mentor Protégé Program is a Government outreach program designed to encourage large defense contractors to develop the technical and business capabilities of small disadvantaged businesses with the ultimate goal of enabling the small business to compete directly and more effectively for Government contracts.

IBM Federal Preferred Supplier Program
IBM U.S. Federal Procurement conducts a competitive procurement every 4 years for its Preferred Supplier Program which provides opportunities for small companies across all socio-economic classifications to service IBM U.S. Federal's supplemental staffing requirements in support of Federal contracts and subcontracts. Eligible bidders must have a competency in recruiting technical personnel with relevant security clearances. While not necessary, it is helpful when small business bidders have past performance for Federal Government Agencies as a prime contractor and are capable of teaming with IBM U.S. Federal as a subcontractor or a small prime. It is also helpful when bidders have personnel certified in IBM software solutions. If you're interested in being considered for as a bidder for the 2019 award of the Preferred Supplier Program, please register your company's interest by sending an email to Mary Hellem and include company name, business size, DUNS Number, website url, and point of contact name, email address and phone number.
