IBM's Global Procurement Application Support Center Strategy is to provide help desk support for Procurement's core applications. This means one point of contact for suppliers for Procurement application support. This consolidation of procurement application support will provide a means to measure call trends that will be used to improve application functionality. This strategy will support Procurement's efforts in driving 100% deployment and utilization of eProcurement tools with our Suppliers. It will insure the same level of support for our suppliers World Wide by maintaining standard operating hours, measurements and customer satisfaction targets. An added benefit is to provide a means to promote the use of customer care as a means of tool support and education.
There are three GEO support centers. One for North America, one for Asia Pacific and one for Europe, Middle East and Africa and Latin America. The following describes hours of service, language support, call in telephone numbers, and applications supported for each Geo support center.
The North America Procurement Application Support Center is located in Bangalore, India. This coverage includes Canada (English) and United States support. Hours of coverage for North America are from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. EST Monday - Friday.
