Introduction to Emptoris SP

Emptoris SP was chosen by IBM to be the next generation sourcing application for IBM Global Procurement. Highlights of the application include:
- Supports Request for Information, Request for Quote and Request for Proposal (combination of RFI and RFQ) as well as auction and advanced auction functionality.
- Configurable attachment size and multiple attachments per line item.
- Multiple language, time zone and currency support.
- Import/export of quotes to support working on responses off-line.
- Configurable communications and collaboration capabilities between the IBM buyer and the supplier(s) ( external emails and application message functions).
- Suppliers can access the application directly by bookmarking the application homepage.
