IBM Software Delivers Comprehensive Support for Web Services

New Tools and Technologies Help Companies Build and Deploy Sophisticated Web Services Applications

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - 25 Mar 2002: IBM today announced new WebSphere products and development tools, enabling customers to build and deploy more sophisticated Web services applications. These new technologies reaffirm IBM's leadership in offering the most comprehensive and open Web services platform.

Web services provide companies with an open-standards-based approach to compose and integrate business applications, regardless of the computing platforms and programming languages involved.
