CHARLOTTE, NC - 22 Apr 2004: IBM's Check Image World Forum (CIWF) is pleased to announce that Tom J. Vicknair, Senior Vice President and National Payments Strategy Division Manager at Bank One will be the keynote speaker at the Check Image World Forum. Vicknair will be speaking on the topic of "The Evolving World of Payment Operations," and will cover critical areas like Check 21, Image Exchange and Back Office Transformation. Additionally IBM is announcing the addition of PegaSystems as our Partner at the Forum.
Check Image World Forum is structured to be delivered in two half-day sessions. The agenda assembles an impressive group of industry experts who will provide information and insights about the tools and skills needed to prepare you for the changes resulting in the emerging Check 21 environment. While the industry buzz is about revolution, IBM and its partners will demonstrate how evolution will achieve high returns in a low risk fashion. This will also be the only opportunity in 2004 to discuss your CPCS concerns with your peers and IBM in open forum.
The Check Image World Forum will be held at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel, beginning on the afternoon of May 17 and concluding on the morning of May 18, 2004. The Check Image World Forum agenda also includes a private networking casino event, scheduled on the evening of Monday, May 17th from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, which will provide additional time for peer interaction and contacts with industry thought leaders.
The Check Image World Forum is scheduled immediately preceding BAI's TransPay(TM) 2004, the financial services industry's premier operations and payments conference which will be held May 18-21, 2004 at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel. IBM and its check partners will be part of BAI's TransPay exhibit hall. A special Networking Reception will also be held in the IBM partner community in the exhibit hall on Tuesday, May 18 from 6:00 - 7:30 pm.
