WHITE PLAINS, NY - 10 Oct 2002: Agari Mediaware, Inc., an industry innovator in content application integration, and IBM have signed a technology agreement designed to provide large media companies with easy-to-use digital media solutions. Together IBM and Agari will target companies with large, disparate repositories of digital assets, such as large media conglomerates, with an integrated suite of technology solutions.

Agari's integration Mediaware platform, The Media Star product Suite, provides the application foundation, and will be integrated with IBM's world-class middleware including WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere MQ. This relationship will complement IBM's digital media technology architecture - The Digital Media Factory.

The joint technology agreement will ensure that customers with massive amounts of digital assets have software applications that are interoperable and integrate easily with existing software, across a company's entire digital content lifecycle from creation, to management to distribution. The ultimate goal of the agreement is to make collaboration among networked content-intensive applications easier.

With Agari and IBM's integrated platform, organizations can reduce operational costs, bring products to market faster, and create new products more rapidly.
