TORONTO - 15 Jun 2009: IBM (NYSE: IBM) has signed a seven-year contract with Rogers Communications, Inc (TSX: RCI.B) for information technology (IT) services and support.
IBM will support Rogers' ongoing information technology transformation with a stable and highly available IT environment. To accommodate future growth, Rogers will have immediate access to IBM's state-of-the-art data center located outside Toronto. This will be linked to Rogers' existing data center facility using Rogers Business Services networking technology. IBM will also upgrade Rogers' existing data center facilities and storage capabilities over the next several years.

This agreement represents a new business relationship for the two companies.
