Digitalwork Announces Agreement with IBM to Provide Online Tools for Small Business

Agreement Will Deliver DigitalWork's One-Stop Business Toolbox to IBM Customers

ROLLING MEADOWS, I - 15 Dec 1998: . . . DigitalWork, Inc., www.digitalwork.com, the Internet's first franchiser of online business tools, and IBM (NYSE: IBM) today announced an agreement that enables the delivery of DigitalWork's comprehensive Web-based business tools to customers of IBM Internet Connection Services, www.ibm.net. DigitalWork's tools will debut on the site this month.

Under the terms of the agreement, IBM Global Services will provide DigitalWork's comprehensive set of business tools to customers of its award-winning Internet access service. The agreement will give small business owners who use IBM Internet Connection Services easy access to DigitalWorks' tools through IBM's Website. IBM's customers will receive service discounts when they take advantage of DigitalWork's business services.

By teaming with IBM Global Services, DigitalWork extends its presence among small business owners worldwide. When IBM's redesigned site debuts, small business owners who use IBM as their Internet Service Provider (ISP) will be linked to DigitalWork's broad range of tools that help execute essential business tasks, such as writing and distributing press releases, sending direct mail, collecting debts or recruiting employees. Small businesses will also receive expert tips and information on running a business via a biweekly "e-zine."
