IBM First to Offer Global Business Intelligence Services for SAP R/3

Improved Market Management Strategies To Boost Competitive Edge

PC EXPO, NEW YORK - 22 Jun 1999: -- IBM today announced a comprehensive suite of Business Intelligence Services for SAP R/3, designed to enhance customers' existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems by consolidating and analyzing data and providing the deep discovery and analytical processing capabilities to allow them to make more knowledgeable business decisions.

Developed by IBM Global Services, the new business intelligence offering provides a full-suite of services ranging from strategic consulting, design and planning, to implementation services. IBM provides the expertise to build consolidated business intelligence systems by integrating SAP R/3 with other data sources and providing end-users with timely access to accurate and usable information enterprise-wide.
