IBM and Agillion Team to Bring Highly Personalized Web Services to Small Businesses

IBM's WebConnections and Agillion CustomerPagesSM Help Small Businesses Grow Beyond e-Business Into c-Business

New York, NY - 23 Oct 2000: IBM and Agillion Inc., the leading Web service for customer-focused business, today announced a partnership to help small and growing businesses get online and use highly personalized Web-based services to strengthen customer service and compete more effectively. The IBM-Agillion initiative is part of IBM's ongoing program to partner with select online business service providers to offer tailored Internet solutions that small and growing businesses say they need to grow and thrive. Agillion also announced today a new business model, c-Business, which puts the customer or c at the forefront of business and enables small and growing businesses to conduct business via their own personalized Web Pages.

The IBM-Agillion partnership delivers a full complement of solutions that small businesses need from Internet access and business-class email to e-commerce capabilities, remote access and customer management. Growing businesses can easily get up and running with a powerful solution for as little as $130 per month, and without lengthy implementation or an IT staff. Both companies will jointly market and promote each other's services IBM's Small Business WebConnections* and Agillion CustomerPages -- as a combined all-in-one solution to build customer-focused businesses, improve efficiencies and drive revenues.

IBM Small Business WebConnections is a monthly subscription service offering shared Internet access, business-class e-mail for up to 100 employees, secure remote access, firewall security, Web site blocking, 24 x 7 IBM service and more.

The Agillion service enables companies to improve communication with customers, internal staff and suppliers resulting in enhanced two-way interaction and increased satisfaction for customers. Today's partnership announcement is accompanied by Agillion's introduction of Agillion CustomerPages, highly personalized, highly interactive Web pages that provide a new, higher level of customer communication.
