Management Development Training Solution Offers Extensive Learning to Organizations - 04 Dec 2000:

Drawing on IBM's experience in training thousands of its managers worldwide, IBM Mindspan Solutions now makes this award-winning Management Development Training Solution available to organizations looking to improve their management training programs. This solution is designed to help organizations improve employee leadership skills, work climate and retention rates. Further, the training program allows managers to understand how to address new and different work environments, such as managing in large, complex organizations and collaborating across worldwide departments.

IBM Mindspan Solutions' Management Development Training Solution content is delivered using a fully blended approach with four "tiers" of delivery, in the tradition of a learning hierarchy, including self-training, coaching simulation, teaming, and classroom learning. While IBM has saved more than $16 million annually with this training program, IBM Mindspan Solutions customers now have the ability to reduce travel, save time and money, increase employee satisfaction and maximize a company's management training investments. Because the offering is customizable, companies can opt to have IBM Mindspan Solutions extend the offering to meet their specific management development training needs. In addition, IBM Mindspan Solutions consultants are available to perform other services such as linking the curriculum with an organization's content, converting the customer's content to this new approach or developing custom tests.

IBM Mindspan Solutions' Management Development Training Solution is based on an award-winning program implemented by IBM. IBM has won numerous key industry honors for the management development program including a "Corporate University Excellence Award" sponsored by The Financial Times and the Corporate University Xchange, a leading, internationally recognized research and consulting firm on corporate universities. IBM has been honored by top five corporate universities demonstrating innovative practices in aligning learning to business strategies and developing anytime, anywhere learning.
