ORLANDO, Fla. - 15 Jan 2001: IBM's Lotus Development Corp. today unveiled a family of mobile and wireless software solutions that extends critical business information to mobile devices. Today's announcement marks the next step in Lotus' strategy to extend the collaborative power of Lotus Domino to business users anytime, anywhere, onany device. The Domino Everyplace server family will enable mobile workers to move beyond wireless e-mail to provide full-service collaborative functions and content that increase the effectiveness of key business applications such as sales force automation, customer relationship management and supply chain management.

"Both Lotus and IBM are working together to deliver wireless content, connectivity and infrastructure solutions that allow organizations to achieve the maximum level of impact and ROI from wireless devices," said Ken Bisconti, vice president for messaging and collaboration product marketing, Lotus Development Corp.
