Smarter and Safer Food Systems: What's Next?

smarter food - small

Countries that at one time seemed distant are now primary sources of our food supply.  As our food choices grow, so do consumers' desire for detailed information on the foods they purchase. Now is the time for all the players in the food industry to rebuild consumer confidence by modernizing the global supply chain to improve the production, safety and quality of food globally. IBM and its Business Partners are developing smart technologies that allow growers, manufacturers, retailers, consumers, and government agencies to connect more closely with their customers and trading partners to ensure a safer food supply.
