Consider the rate at which cities are changing and growing today. It's estimated that the urban population increases by 2 people every second. Rapid urbanization, strained infrastructure, and enormous amounts of data are placing new demands -- and creating opportunities -- for cities. IBM is working with cities around the world to use advanced technologies, like analytics, to help identify ways to tackle urbanization challenges, improve sustainability and deliver better services to their citizens.
