Free Watson Technology Helps Teachers to be at Their Best

    Date added: 2016-09-28

Nathanael Greene Elementary school teachers Cara Madison, left and Lee-Ann Solas, join hundreds of educators in the U.S. who are testing Teacher Advisor with Watson, cognitive tool that provides targeted guidance to teachers seeking high quality lesson plan recommendations, vetted curricula content, and personalized teaching strategies in September 2016 in Pawtucket, RI. This free technology will initially focus on third-grade math, a linchpin academic subject. It understands questions teachers pose in everyday language, and will get even smarter over time. The online software was developed by the IBM International Foundation in collaboration with the American Federation of Teachers, funders, educators, education non-profits, and content providers.
