    IBM Senior Vice President of Research Dr. John Kelly talks with students from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa after delivering a lecture about the role of technology in addressing Africa's challenges and opportunities, Thursday, February 7, 2013 in Nairobi, Kenya. The university is home to IBM's 12th global research laboratory, which will develop next generation technologies in such areas as healthcare, traffic management, e-government and mobile computing. IBM has been doing business in Africa for more than 90 years. Most recently, it has expanded its presence by focusing investments in more than 20 African countries.
