Winn-Dixie, Inc. has purchased 6,000 IBM SurePOS 700 retail systems and infrared touch-screen displays to help transform customer service and improve operations at its 484 stores across the Southeastern United States. The SurePOS 700 is the flagship of IBM's point-of-sale product line with more systems installed worldwide than the top two IBM POS competitors combined.
