Paul Papas is the global leader for IBM’s Digital Front Office practice which helps clients engage with their customers and drive growth by harnessing the power of digital, mobile, social, analytics, and cloud technologies.
In this role, he leads a worldwide team of IBM consultants that help clients become more competitive by rethinking their customer strategies, designing new customer experiences, developing deeper customer insights, and implementing new customer platforms. Mr. Papas provides global oversight to IBM Interactive, the company’s digital agency, and the IBM Customer Experience Lab, a joint IBM Research and IBM Global Business Services lab that is designed to invent new ways for clients to engage with their customers.
Mr. Papas has more than 25 years of consulting experience, including deep expertise in leveraging Big Data and analytics to help market to the individual. He has directed engagements addressing issues of strategy, organization, technology and operations. He has worked extensively on the grand challenges of customer experience, front office transformation, digital transformation, sales, marketing and enterprise transformation. Previously, Mr. Papas was the lead Partner for IBM’s Life Sciences practice in IBM Global Business Services. Before joining IBM, Mr. Papas was a Partner at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and held several practice leadership roles throughout his career.
Mr. Papas was named the “King of Commerce” and ranked as one of the top CRM Influential Leaders by CRM Magazine in 2013.
