Full biography
Andy Monshaw is general manager, IBM PureFlex. He is responsible for IBM’s worldwide Expert Integrated Systems business, including worldwide sales, development, product management, marketing and support functions.
Most recently, Andy was general manager, Global Mid market with the responsibility of leading IBM's company-wide focus on expanding sales to small and medium business and working with the Business Partner ecosystem to deliver innovation. Previously, he served as Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of IBM Japan. In this capacity, he was responsible for sales, marketing, communications, finance and operations for IBM Japan. Prior to that Andy was the General manager for IBM System Storage business, and during that tenure led several market changing acquisitions including XIV and Diligent.
Andy has more than 28 years experience in the information technology industry and has held executive positions in IBM’s Global Sales and Distribution, Europe, Japan, U.S., and IBM’s Systems and Technology Group including CFO for IBM's Hardware businesses.
