Full biography
Arvind Krishna is General Manager of IBM’s Information Management Software Division which includes database, data warehouse, information integration, master data management, integrated data management and associated software. Dr. Krishna is responsible for the revenue, development, strategy, and ecosystem of the Information Management business, a multibillion dollar market. Previously, he was the Vice President of Strategy for IBM Software Group. He has held many key roles in both IBM Software and IBM Research including pioneering IBM’s security software business. He has an undergraduate degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is the recipient of a distinguished alumni award1 from the University of Illinois, and is the co-author of 15 patents.
