LONDON, UK - 24 Nov 2009: West Yorkshire based specialist IT reseller, Servers Plus today announced it has been awarded an IBM Business Partner Midmarket Award, which is presented to businesses that have made significant achievements in the midmarket with IBM products.
The prestigious award was presented to Servers Plus Business Manager, James Yates, at IBM’s Midmarket Community Conference held at London’s Mermaid Conference Centre in Blackfriars.
Speaking after the presentation Yates said: “We are absolutely delighted to win this award so early in our progression. It not only recognises the efforts of everyone at Servers Plus but also the commitment by the IBM Midmarket team to the Express Advantage programme and the fantastic value proposition they have built around it for businesses.”
Servers Plus launched in early 2009 with the aim of combining the depth of product range and savings offered by online resellers and the service and support offered by a more traditional value added reseller.
The company offers a wide range of server, storage and networking products through its website www.serversplus.com, whilst its team of accredited account managers offer businesses free pre-sales support and advice and a range of configuration, installation and support services. Servers Plus has seen huge growth in its first 10 months of business delivering IBM Express Advantage opportunities.
The Business Gift Company worked with Servers Plus to replace their existing server infrastructure. Through the Express programme, The Business Gift Company was able to implement enterprise class systems at mid-market prices. The IBM UK Midmarket Business Partner award is presented to IBM UK partners that have delivered innovative solutions, impressive revenue growth and effective teaming with IBM and other partners in the midmarket. The UK midmarket is defined as companies with less than 1000 employees. This award has been instigated by IBM as part of its focus on the midmarket to recognise Business Partners that are investing and succeeding in this crucial marketplace.
